How We Work

Veritas Intelligence is informed by decades of senior government and private-sector experience across international security, intelligence operations, investigations, and global risk management. Our perspective reflects real-world operational environments — not theoretical models.

Boutique by Design

We work with a limited number of clients to ensure senior-level attention. Every engagement is led directly by our founder — not delegated to junior analysts or outsourced teams.

Discreet and Defensible

Our work reflects an understanding of legal exposure, privilege, and reputational risk. All engagements operate under a mutual non-disclosure framework executed prior to any substantive exchange.

Decision-Focused

We prioritize clarity and judgment over volume. Our deliverables are designed for principals, general counsel, and investment committees — intelligence they can act on immediately.

Outcomes Delivered to Our Clients

Veritas Intelligence works with senior leaders, general counsel, investors, and principals who require absolute discretion, clear judgment, and intelligence they can act on immediately.

Decision-Grade Intelligence

Intelligence products that collapse information asymmetry, enabling principals to negotiate, transact, and operate from a position of informed strength. Every engagement is measured against this standard.

Operational Discretion

Client identity is strictly compartmented throughout every phase of the engagement. All matters are governed by mutual non-disclosure protocols. For particularly sensitive matters, internal case management may use coded identifiers rather than client names. Reporting and deliverables will either be delivered in person, transmitted through secure, encrypted channels or physically delivered via the same approved mechanism for delivery of U.S. Government classified information up to the Secret level.

Evidentiary Standards

Findings documented to a standard suitable for legal proceedings, regulatory submissions, and board-level reporting. Our methodology and documentation meet the rigor demanded by anticipated forums.

Real-World Perspective

Our perspective reflects real-world operational environments — not theoretical models. Decades of senior government and private-sector experience across international security, intelligence operations, and global risk management inform every engagement.

Benjamin House, Founder and Principal of Veritas Intelligence

Benjamin House

Founder, Veritas Intelligence

Benjamin House, Founder of Veritas Intelligence, is retained by clients when conventional diligence is insufficient and the stakes are too high for incomplete answers. His experience across intelligence operations, diplomacy, counterintelligence, and Fortune 500 security leadership enables Veritas Intelligence to assess risk, validate information, and deliver clear, defensible judgment clients can act on with confidence.

He is a retired Senior Operations Officer with the Central Intelligence Agency, where he led intelligence operations in complex and high-risk environments across five continents, including serving twice as Chief of Station. He developed particular depth in Latin America through multiple senior assignments in the region, in addition to significant experience across South Asia and the Middle East.

Throughout his government career, he operated against high-priority targets in some of the most challenging operational environments, earning recognition as an expert in counterintelligence, counterterrorism, high-threat operations, and complex investigations. His work required the ability to assess incomplete or conflicting information, operate with discretion, and produce clear, defensible judgments in time-sensitive situations.

Following his government service, he led Global Safety and Security for a Fortune 500 company, with responsibility for protecting over 28,000 employees across more than 2,000 locations worldwide. In this role, he advised senior executives on geopolitical risk, operational exposure, and crisis response, translating complex intelligence into actionable business decisions.

He also served as a U.S. Diplomat and as a Special Agent (Counterintelligence) with the Department of the Army, further expanding his experience in international operations, interagency coordination, and investigative work.

Today, as Founder of Veritas Intelligence, he supports law firms, investors, corporations, and private clients facing complex, high-stakes decisions. His approach combines discreet intelligence collection, rigorous analysis, and seasoned judgment to provide clarity in situations where information is limited and the consequences of being wrong are significant.

The Veritas Standard

Answers to common questions from prospective clients regarding our operational framework, confidentiality standards, and engagement terms.

Veritas Intelligence is not a volume-driven firm. Each engagement is led directly by the founder and tailored to the client's specific risk, exposure, and decision requirements.

Our focus is clarity, discretion, and judgment—providing decision-grade insight clients rely on when the stakes are high and the consequences are material.

While discretion is the primary component to how Veritas Intelligence operates, we advise senior leaders across various sectors including law firms, investment organizations, international corporations, private clients, and other select individuals on geopolitical and security risks related to domestic and international operations, investments, market entry, and travel. Engagements are selective and confidential - accepted directly or by referral.

Veritas Intelligence is headquartered in Orlando, Florida near a major international airport to support our global operations. While we specialize in the U.S. and Latin America, Veritas Intelligence also operates in Europe, the Middle East, and South Asia.

Every engagement begins with a consultation to define objectives, assess risk, and establish clear operational parameters. From there, we develop a tailored intelligence strategy aligned to your specific exposure, timeline, and decision requirements. Veritas Intelligence does not deliver standardized products. Each engagement is discreetly designed and executed to address your unique circumstances. Updates are provided at agreed intervals, and final reporting includes an executive brief, substantiated findings, risk assessment, and clear strategic recommendations.
